Jawid Sharif, whose real name is Ahmad Jawid Durani, was born in Kabul, Afghanistan, and comes from a Pashtun family. He completed his school education in Afghanistan and later moved to Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, for higher education in telecommunications engineering and Russian language teaching.

In Baku, besides his university studies, he also learned the fundamentals of Western music, which led to the recording of an album featuring Azerbaijani music. After completing his education, he migrated to Germany and settled in the city of Bonn.

Jawid Sharif developed an interest in music at the age of five and performed his first radio concert at the age of six. He is the nephew of Habib Sharif, a well-known Afghan artist, and he has mentioned that his uncle played a significant role in encouraging and guiding him in his musical journey.

Throughout his artistic career, Jawid Sharif has participated in various festivals and has won multiple awards. He took part in five Ariana Television festivals and was recognized as the Best Singer of the Year in 2008 and 2012. Additionally, at the "Big Apple Music" festival in New York, he was honored as the Best Afghan Singer.

One of his most popular songs is *"Shana Parank,"* which received widespread acclaim.

Jawid Sharif is married and currently resides in Bonn, Germany.
